Description
Long rectangular mat of plaited split-leaf grass fibres. The majority of fibres are yellowish brown with some green and purple fibres. The edges on the long side have been folded over and woven back to create a finished edge and a border.
History Of Use
Collector observed people sitting on these mats while they were making baskets.
