Description

Small apron of glazed brown cotton. The narrow bib curves outwards to a rectangular skirt. There are loops on the top corners of both the bib and skirt. The top of the bib and curved sides are edged with blue trim. Beneath the loops are fabric flowers in blue, white and pink. Across the bib are fabric stripes in yellow, green and red. The back is unlined.

Worn as an ornament to protect clothing while working (collector).

Worn by Hakka women in everyday dress.
