Description

Wildebeest horn. Curved, branched section of horn. The dark brown outer layer is hard; the inner layer is a lighter brown and has a spongy consistency. A small area above the branched section is worn.

History Of Use

Used to round the pieces of ostrich shell by chipping on a stone base.
