Pendant Item Number: Sf539 from the MOA: University of British Columbia
A long-beaked bird with a solid cast head and flattened body with winds spread in flight. A hole is punched through the flattened tail, slightly off-centre.
Probably an ornament which was worn suspended from the hole through the tail.
The long beak suggests this is a diving bird.
Inca Style ? Late Horizon, 1476-1532.
