Description
Translucent purple-brown glass beaker. The round body is divided into three areas by two raised horizontal lines around the centre. The upper section has raised leaf motifs; the middle section is plain; the lower section raised vertical flutings with alternating rounded and pointed ends. The bottom is flat with three concentric circles.

Specific Techniques
The bipartite mold blown technique required molten glass to be blown into a reusable mold, giving the glass both form and surface in one operation. For comparative pieces see: (Westholm, p.140, fig.44, nos. 9-19; Weiss, p.51 top right).
