Description

A semi-circular shaped ornament made of a thin sheet of gold-coloured metal. The flat edge of the ornament has a circular hole cut into it. At the centre there are repousse designs of concentric circles in rows, and this is bordered by two rows of repousse dots.

History Of Use

Nose ornaments are depicted frequently in Moche and Vicus ceramics. They are worn hanging from the septum (Lumbreras).
