Description

Twelve hollow, spherical gold beads, each constructed from two half-spheres. There are three small gold beads of the same type. There are also twenty-four irregularly shaped grey pearl beads and four disc-shaped stone beads (two light yellow and two blue/green).

History Of Use

Beads from a variety of necklaces and adornments used in life and funereal contexts. Chimu associations (north coast 750-1476 C.E.) are given for some beads of this sort but they may not be limited to the Chimu Style.
