Description

A semi-circular shape, made of a thin sheet of gold-coloured metal. The flat edge of the ornament has a circle cut out at the centre. There is a design of four repousse concentric circles with a border of repousse dots at the edge.

History Of Use

Nose ornaments are depicted frequently in Moche and Vicus ceramics. They are worn hanging from the septum (Lumbreras).
