Description
Purple damask jacket. The jacket has a standing collar, front pockets, side slits and a centre opening with brass frog closures. The damask silk is woven with a peony motif. The jacket is lined with yellow-white lamb’s wool.
History Of Use
This jacket shows influence of western styles upon traditional Chinese clothing. The set-in sleeves and darts are non-traditional.
