Description

Jug, made of red clay, full of dark and red grit giving the clay a very speckled appearance. Light grey slip, poorly preserved. Low ring base; oval shaped body; trumpet-shaped neck; pinched lip to form trefoil mouth; vertical handle from rim to shoulder. There are two shallow horizontal grooves on the upper section of the body.

History Of Use

Used to store and pour oils. Funerary gift.
