Description

Clay jug with a yellowish buff, fine grained, with slightly soapy surface texture, large number of small white limestone particles and a small amount of fine gold mica. Grey/white slip in places. Slightly raised ring base, rounded body widening toward top, sharp carination at point where body and shoulder meet, large everted rim, vertical handle from rim to shoulder.

Used for storing and pouring liquids. Funerary gift.
