Bag made of hand knit off-white and black wool with a horse figure and "1977" on both sides within geometric borders. The adjustable strap has two parts: a wound loop and a strap ending in tassels. The woven end threads through the loop and knots. The strap is woven with bands of alternating beige and dark brown rectangles with a brown edge.
Bags take the place of pockets to carry money, official papers and purchases. Bags are knitted by men, carried under left arm. Strap crosses body to opposite shoulder.
The horse is a post-conquest symbol, representing a messenger between god's and men. 1977 motif represents the year made.
