Description

Square of black cloth with seam at rear to form tube. Top edge has two white applique bands, with white and orange embroidery between. Bottom edge has two white applique strips. Large embroidered front panel bordered at sides by orange embroidery. Very large embroidered cross motif, outlined by white and orange embroidery, orange zig-zag, and white applique. Rear panel plain. Edges finished.

History Of Use

Made and worn by women. Garments have traditionally been reserved for special occasions. With the introduction of Western-style clothes, traditional garments are worn even less frequently.
