Description

Rectangular piece of brown cloth with embroidered and appliqued geometric designs on front and painted black geometric design on the rest. Sewn with vertical seam at rear to form tube. Top has three applied bands of tan material, also used in border and design of front panel. Solid dark brown painted strip at bottom. Edges finished.

History Of Use

Made and worn by women. Garments have traditionally been reserved for special occasions. With the introduction of Western-style clothes, traditional garments are worn even less frequently.
