Spoon Item Number: Ic11 from the MOA: University of British Columbia

Description

A wood spoon of dark brown to blackened patina at the front. Entire wood piece is curved with a long shallow scoop-like single-ribbed bowl, slightly swelling with squared end. Bowl tapers into a short handle which flares towards the thick ribbed butt end that curves outward. There is black wood inset, width-wise at the bowl and handle join: two pieces with three bead-like pieces in between. Simple mushroom cap-like-shaped finial.
