Leaf-shaped metal point inserted in slit in antler piece and riveted. Hole drilled crosswise through antler which is hollowed out at the end, cut diagonally and wrapped with sinew.
Arrow shaft would be inserted in antler section and both would be bound together. Bows and arrows were used for hunting animals until the introduction of rifles made them obsolete.
