Pillowcase Item Number: Ea6 from the MOA: University of British Columbia
Description
A plain woven rectangular cotton pillow cover with four large pink, and gold-coloured wool, tassels. Embroidered with lines, butterflies, and flowers, all in abstract motifs. Gold-coloured thread around the tassles. One side open with copper metallic, and pink embroidered lace on it. Decorated with a few light pink sequins.
History Of Use
Used for decoration in homes. Girls taught embroidery techniques at young age.
