Doll representing a male figure and made from unbleached cotton. The parka has blue and green embroidered trim and a fur-edged hood. The doll wears brown and white woven sash, mittens, a brown and white crocheted toque, brown pants, and boots with embroidered trim and ties. The facial features are embroidered.

Toys and crafts were made by hospital patients as a form of therapy and entertainment.

Narrative

Collected by Grace Adam between 1950 and 1965. Said to have been made by a tuberculosis patient at the Charles Camsell Hospital, Edmonton, Alberta.
