Description

Pair of gloves, or gauntlets, made from hide with wide cuffs, a multi-coloured beaded floral design, fur trim around the wrist and cuff, and a hide fringe on the outer side of each. Lined with red cloth and machine sewn.

Narrative

Collected by Grace Adam between 1950 and 1965. Said to have been made by a tuberculosis patient at the Charles Camsell Hospital, Edmonton, Alberta.
