Description

A tightly plaited rectangular pouch with an overlapping flap at the front and each side braided closed. One side seam is brown while the other is undyed. The flap which closes the pouch folds over on a slant. The edge of the flap and the pouch under the flap are braided.

History Of Use

Made by men and women and used to carry personal possessions. Usually used by women for trips to the market.
