Description

Triangular-shaped copper point inserted and riveted in antler shaft. Shaft has cancellous texture on one side and cortex texture on the other and tapers to point with two lines cut crosswise into antler.

History Of Use

Arrowheads used in hunting game until introduction of rifles made them obsolete. This partial shaft would be joined onto another. It was common for shafts to be comprised of more than one section.
