Description

Triangular-shaped copper point. Blade inserted and riveted to antler shaft that has cancellous texture and a notch one quarter of way down its length. V-shaped cut where two antler sections have been joined and riveted with three copper pins. End tapers to point.

History Of Use

Arrowheads used for hunting game until the introduction of rifles made them obsolete. This partial shaft would be joined onto another. It was common for shafts to be comprised of more than one section.
