Cup Item Number: Ae97 from the MOA: University of British Columbia

Description

Cup carved from a single piece of wood. The inside retains natural yellow-white, and has a roughly carved thick bottom. Rim of the cup is charred black. The outside of the cup has six triple-grooved curved vertical lines that are charred black with horizontal lines in between of a natural colour.

History Of Use

Used for drinking palm wine.
