Footed female figure of wood with round moveable head and cylindrical body. Stylized black hair with red decoration. Crescent eyebrows, crescentic eyes, black dot for nose, and red dot for mouth. Black and red striped body with flower in middle. Tag with calligraphy is attached by a red tie.
History Of Use
Traditional kokeshi doll.

Part of the Miss Jessie M. Miller Collection. Miss Miller was a teaching evangelist for the Anglican Church of Canada.
