Description

Female doll with child on back. Female holds drum on stick in her slightly upraised right hand. White molded clay head, hands, and feet for the female with child's head of white molded clay. Part of woman's black hair is in a top knot. A red hair cushion is visible in front and back. Pink string bow on top knot. Red, blue, pink, and green flower at side of head with orange and white strings hanging from it. Rest of woman's hair chin length. Blue and white dotted scarf tied around head above eyes. Brown eyes in eye socket, painted faint black lower lashes, molded nose, closed mouth with red lips, and cheeks faint pink. Orange lining visible at neck, sleeve cuff, and hem of under kimono. Under the kimono there is a checkered yellow, green, orange, and red piece. Green top coat has scattered toy design in white, yellow, blue, red, black, and orange with pink edging at sleeve cuff and hem. Black edging at neck and front. Orange and white diamond design skirt beneath kimono. Black lacquered sandals have faint red flower design on sides. Orange string forms top of sandals. Metal spikes protrude from heel. Child has shoulder length black hair with bangs. Facial features similar to mother's. White textured cloth around child's neck. Three tiered drum staff in woman's hand. Top drum has floral cloth ends. Orange string joins drum ends together. Light green in centre of drum. Next is a red cylinder with gold wrapping. Green, pink, white, yellow, and red string hang from each end. Last drum has floral cloth ends. Red centre with one gold band. Red staff is wrapped in gold, partially hidden by sleeve. Standing on a clear white base.
