Solid heavy greenish-brown stone ball with a red vein on one side. Some red dye on rough area.

History Of Use

Round axes were used in cannibal raids on neighbouring groups before the 'Rule of Law' was imposed from Australia c. 1967. These raids were carried out for the initiation of young men. Raids were also made to obtain women. These stone club heads come in a variety of shapes including round, star, diamond and pineapple, and were used for different purposes.
