Description

Pair of gold foil isosceles triangles, stamped with design of raised dots in curved and straight lines. To each are glued two lozenges of red fabric. Inserted through each is a piece of wire projecting 3.7cm. from the base, perpendicular to it.

History Of Use

These are affixed to the upper corners of ancestral tablets and household and public shrines at new year and remain throughout the year. Those from the previous year are removed at this time. They signify that the tablet or shrine is worshipped and tended.
