Description

Kyathos made of red fine-grained, light porous clay full of small white limestone particles and dark grits. The bowl was fired; has a red rim and handle; black painted lower body and inner bowl. Deep bowl, wide flaring upper portion, funnel-shaped below with narrow upright rim and forked handle attached below rim. The tip of the handle has a serpent-like appearance. Narrow base ring.
