Food cover made of a sheer cream woven silk square, each is side bordered with a woven gold band. Three sides have a rolled hem; one side is selvedge.

Part of the Miss Jessie M. Miller Collection. Miss Miller was a teaching evangelist for the Anglican Church of Canada.
Cultural Context
Used to cover small mouthed containers or jugs of drinking liquid, thereby protecting the liquid from contamination.
