Description
Food cover made of sheer light blue silk square with gold thread warp and weft elements spaced to produce a checkered pattern; each side is bordered with a woven gold band. Two sides have rolled hems, two have selvedge.

Part of the Miss Jessie M. Miller Collection. Miss Miller was a teaching evangelist for the Anglican Church of Canada.

Used to cover food and protect it from contamination.
