Description

An unfinished length of braided cordage made of flattened sun-bleached grass. One end of the sample is folded and the other is a spray of loose ends. Grass is brittle.

History Of Use

Lengths of braided cordage are used to carry water pots and to make lids for water pots.

The dried grass is obliquely interlaced in a 1:1 order with 3 strands. Each strand is made up of an untwisted bunch of grass.
