Description

Commemorative maroon-coloured velvet banner hangs from wood pole with yellow pear-shaped plastic finials and two dangling pink and gold tassels. Gold foil Chinese letters are attached to front surface and a band of pink and green striped ribbon with a fringe of looped twine is stitched on at the bottom.

History Of Use

An officer of the Ngai Lum Musical Society, Sylvia Au, said these banners were presented on the occasion of the first international Cantonese opera congress or festival in Guangzhou, 1991.
