Description

Balinese painting on long rectangular cloth. Hindu image in red, orange, light and dark brown, light and dark black, and white. An orange and brown painted double frame with black ivy-like chain surrounds a balanced scene. Central is the large throne on which sits a figure with two female attendants; below and to the sides, two rounder figures talk to two standing figures. A dancer stands in each of the upper corners. The cloth is adhered at the top to a beige linen covered cardboard mount.
