Description
Large wooden shield with carved and painted designs. The shield is rectangular in shape, with rounded corners. On the top is a post with a carved human head. On the front is a design with curl and diamond motifs in orange, outlined in brown on white ground. Knotted through holes along the sides are sisal fibre tassels. On the back is a protruding curved handle with two square holes.
