Description

Rectangular wood shield, with rounded corners and 5 holes down each side, has ornate carved relief design on front with recesses painted orange and white, borders black. A carved upper half torso of a male resting his large chin on a support surmounts the shield and has white body and black and orange hair. Back is painted with an opposing zigzag pattern in black and orange on a white background and there is a long spine with curved handle with two cut-outs in the centre, around which is tied a long white string.
