Description

Large wooden shield with carved and painted designs. The shield is rectangular in shape, with rounded corners. On the top is a human figure bent over; hands on the front, feet on the back. On the front is a repeated curve motif in orange, outlined in brown on white ground. Knotted through holes along the sides are bark tassels. On the back is a protruding curved handle with two square holes and a painted zigzag motif.
