Bucket shaped basket with simple line decoration. The inside is darkened from use, and there are two material loops added to the rim of the basket, possibly for suspension.; Good
Context
Identified by George Heye of the Heye Museum of the American Indian as Haida. The simple banded decoration is a characteristic of Haida baskets (G.Crowther). The original European tribal names and, where possible, current tribal names have both been given in separate GLT fields.
