Small oval basket with rectangular base with central decorated band of black zig-zags, and top and bottom edge of black and cream stripe.; Good
Context
The basket possibly originated on the Westcoast of Vancouver Island, or in Washington State (G.Crowther). The original European tribal names and, where possible, current tribal names have both been given in separate GLT fields.; The basket has been made using the wrapped twining technique and decorated with dyed grass. The style of basket is similar to those made for sale around the turn of the century.
