Description
Round bucket shaped basket with handle. There are rings of orange, purple and cream decorating the basket, the handle is plaited with orange and brown grass.; Good
Context
The basket is possibly Coast Salish, and probably made for sale (G.Crowther). The original European tribal names and, where possible, current tribal names have both been given in separate GLT fields.; The basket is made from an inner cedar bark frame with an outer face of grass bound to the cedar bark with a lighter coloured grass
