Bailer Item Number: E 1910.18 from the MAA: University of Cambridge
Description
Large wooden canoe bailer which is rectangular with angled sides meeting to form a curved base. The base has a hole drilled across the curved sides and a piece of string inserted through it, possibly for hanging. The bailer appears to be well used. The bailer bears a label which reads H.Stadthagen, Indian Curio Museum, 79 Johnson Street, Victoria, B.C. Good
Context

The bailer mistakenly bears the label E 1910.20 which was originally assigned to a halibut hook.
