Wooden peg-shaped object which has carved designs of crosses and diamonds on the square end of the handle. The rest of the handle is composed of four carved rods.; Good

Context

It is uncertain why this sail creaser and Z 35158 were put with the Northwest Coast collection, except that they may have been collected there, however they are European in origin. The original European tribal names and, where possible, current tribal names have both been given in separate GLT fields.; According to Stephen Hooper the peg is a sail creaser and is European in origin.
