It is uncertain why this sail creaser and Z 35159 were put with the Northwest Coast collection, except that they may have been collected there, however they are European in origin. The original European tribal names and, where possible, current tribal names have both been given in separate GLT fields.; According to Stephen Hooper the peg is a sail creaser and is European in origin.
