Description

A very dark brown to black, curved, L-shaped spoon with a hollowed oval bowl that has a slightly squared end near the base and a tapering handle for nearly one half.

History Of Use

Ladles and spoons were common eating and serving implements on the Northwest Coast. Horn spoons, especially the elaborately carved ones were used at ceremonial feasts.
