Ear Ornament Item Number: Ie329 a-b from the MOA: University of British Columbia
A pair (parts a-b) of earrings consisting of an end section of snail (conus?) shell. Shaped like a 'c' with a small opening (.5 cm.). Convex side is smooth while concave side has natural concentric grooves. One earring (part a) is more yellow in colour, slightly narrower, and less regular in shape while the other earring (part b) is white.
Earrings were used by men for self-decoration.
