Description

A rough-surfaced, very visibly flaked, mottled yellow-grey stone that has an oblong rectangular shape with both sides slightly curving convexly and tapering at an angle, creating an edge at one end which is more flared than the other end.

History Of Use

The adze was used in gardening, to cut fences, cut trees, chop firewood, and to butcher meat.
