Description
Woven pandanus bag done in a plain diagonal plaiting with a top strip of a more intricate triangular geometric pattern. Long braided straps with tassels on the ends are made from thirteen small braids converging together on either side of the bag.
History Of Use
Bag used by men as a container in which to keep various small personal possessions. These bags are often made by men and are worn across the chest. Women's larger bags are worn on their backs.
