Description

Rectangular basket with tall straight sides. Sides have two bands of open work triangles formed from one zigzag coil; one band is at bottom of walls and one is at top. Walls are decorated on interior and exterior with regularly spaced flower decorations.

Narrative

The donor's family lived in Kamloops from 1907-1909, then Duncan from 1909-1920, at which point they moved to Vancouver. She said the family traded old clothes for baskets.
