Oblong horn dish with flat bottom and squared ends. [CAK 19/04/2010]

Longer Description

Oblong horn dish with flat bottom and squared ends. The bowl is made from a single piece of mountain sheep horn that has been steamed, moulded and carved such that it has a flat base, smooth sides, and a smooth, curved interior. The two ends are shorter but extend higher than the long, curved sides of the bowl. The ends are squared at the top. The long sides flare out from the base. The grain of the horn is visible throughout the bowl. [CAK 19/04/2010]
