Description

Amulet figure depicting Uzait Horu, the sacred eye of Horus, inside a roughly circular shape with indented lines around the edge and a hole pierced through it from side to side. The eyebrow is glazed black, and the remainder is glazed green.

History Of Use

Probably an amulet.

Iconographic Meaning

The eye of Horus is also known as the divine eye, the mystic eye, the eyes of the dead, and the eye of Ra. The right eye is the sun, the left eye is the moon.
