Figure depicting the Uraeus, or cobra, which is the symbol for the goddess Wadjet. The figure's tail is curled against itself and its head is raised and adorned with the Deshret, which is the Red Crown of Lower Egypt and has a widening shape with a raised lip at the back.
Probably an amulet.
This serpent was never identified with any of the great gods. Wadjet is the goddess of celestial and terrestrial fire, and the emblem of light.
